Robert Kirkman wrote an open letter in the latest issue of the “Walking Dead” comic to let viewers know what was really going on. He said that he wasn’t trying “to game the audience” by keeping the identity of who Negan beat up a secret until next season. Instead, it was the goal of the creative team to get the fans talking. You can read the full statement here, or you can see it in #154 of “The Walking Dead” comic by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard.
Zombies wanted! Universal Studios Hollywood is casting for a new attraction based on the hit series “The Walking Dead.” The park is looking for 100 actors to play either zombies or survivors. More than 1,000 zombie wannabes are expected to show up for a casting call today and tomorrow at the Southern California theme park. But don’t stagger in unannounced or in makeup. Auditions are by appointment only. The would-be walkers are being told NOT to wear makeup or costumes.
Seth MacFarlane is returning to Fox, this time with a show set in the future. He’ll be the star and producer of a sci-fi series. It’s set 300-years in the future and follows a motley crew of space explorers. The show is to debut for the 2017 to 2018 T-V season. MacFarlane’s T-V career has focused on animation, as producer and voice actor for Fox’s “Family Guy” and T-B-S’ “American Dad!” His movie credits include “Ted” and its sequel, and “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”
If you haven’t seen enough of Caitlyn Jenner, you’ll get to see it all pretty soon. She’ll be posing wearing nothing but an American flag and her Olympic medal on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Why naked and why now? Back when Caitlyn was Bruce Jenner, she set a world decathlon record at the 1976 Montreal Summer Games. The big reveal is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of that win. A source said that Caitlyn is excited about the shoot. And the medals – that currently reside at the bottom of her makeup drawer – will probably be glad for the fresh air. Even though they’re her most prized possession, she doesn’t display them because she doesn’t want her kids – Burt, Casey, Brandon, Brody, Kendall, and Kylie – to constantly compare their achievements to her Olympic triumphs. At this point, we’re not sure which issue Jenner will cover.
Think you love pizza? Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria in Los Angeles might make you think twice. The restaurant offers a challenge to its bravest customers: a 54-inch by 54-inch pizza. All in all, the Sicilian pie weighs 55 pounds, including eight-pounds of mozzarella and one-and-a-half pounds of sausage. That clocks in at a whopping 32,400 calories. If you and up to seven friends manage to polish it off, the group wins $1,000. The Mirror‘s associate features editor thought she could take it on alone. After eight slices, she asks for the rest to go. “Six full pizza delivery boxes later,” Clemmie Moodie writes, “Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next three days are sorted.”
