What’s Your Secret Ingredient

Catherine brought in muffins. They were fantastic. She said the secret ingredient was real vanilla extract. So we want to know your recipe with a secret ingredient.

Unnamed- A big squirt of mustard in the spaghetti sauce

Lisa O’Neill – lemon cupcakes: lemon zest in the creamed butter and sugar

Coreen – I put mustard in devilled eggs… Spices it up and adds yellow color to the yolk

Keith – I put rum in my chilli

Rebecca –Secret ingredient: fresh Ginger – I sneak it in lots of places you wouldn’t expect it. i.e. chicken lemon ginger, stir fry’s, deserts.

Unnamed –Dill in potatoes with cream. Cooked cream down to thicken sauce.
