Led Zeppelin has announced a reunion, just not the one you were hoping for. John Paul Jones, Robert Plant, and Jimmy Page have come together to create a new book, “Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin” due out this fall. The book is part of the band’s 50th anniversary celebration. It’s a work in progress right now but they say it includes lots of pictures of the band including John Bonham, “on and offstage in candid moments and in the recording studio.” It’s the first book officially produced with the band. Paul McCartney and James Corden hit up several spots in Liverpool on Saturday. They were taking selfies in front of a Beatles statue in McCartney’s hometown and even visited Paul’s childhood home and Penny Lane. McCartney even did a surprise performance at the Philharmonic Dining Rooms. Tickets had been sold for a “secret gig” so no one knew who they were going to see.
- No one is saying what McCartney and Corden are up to. Some are guessing there may be a big announcement. November is the 50th anniversary of the Beatles White album and McCartney’s twitter pic and Instagram pic is just a triangle with semi circles arcing over it like a colourless rainbow.
