A lot of music legends are paying tribute to Leonard Cohen at a tribute concert in Montreal November 6th. They’re calling it the Tower Of Song: A memorial tribute to Leonard Cohen. Some of the artists involved include Elvis Costello, k.d. lang, The Lumineers and Sting. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon. Click HERE for tickets. U2 had to cancel a show in St. Louis because of protest after the acquittal of former cop Jason Stockley. Stockley shot and killed 24-year-old Anthony Lamar Smith after a high-speed chase.
And the latest United Nations Goodwill Ambassador is …..Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead. He’ll be trying to gain more support for the UN to help fight poverty and climate change. Bob says he’ll be “a strong advocate for crucial climate initiatives and renewable energy, and for the world’s oceans, coastlines and forests.” He spoke about climate change and technology at the Social Good Summit yesterday in New York.
