This year will mark the first ever Loudwire Music Awards ceremony and concert and while we’re still waiting for the nominees, we know Tony Iommi will be the recipient of the Courage Award. The honor celebrates both the Black Sabbath rocker’s career and “triumphant” battle against lymphoma over the past few years. And the Courage Award will be named the “Iommi” and presented to future courageous artists. They even used Iommi’s hand as the mold of the hand featured on the award. The Loudwire Music Awards will take place on October 24th in Los Angeles. You can buy tickets to the event on the 19th.
