Mayor Lyn Hall called 99.3 The Drive (just after 6pm July 8) to let our listeners know how the fires are affecting the city and what the city is doing for evacuees.

Information: For evacuees, we currently have three Emergency Social Services locations where you can register as an evacuee. In 100 Mile House, go to the Curling Rink. In Williams Lake, go to Lake City Secondary on Carson Drive. In Prince George, you can go to the College of New Caledonia (3330 22 Ave. West Entrance).
Registering as an evacuee ensures that you will be eligible for any benefits you may qualify for and you can be contacted with updates as they become available.
