The highly anticipated Queen collection featuring a collaboration with Michael Jackson is arriving this fall – and it has a release date. What many are most excited about is the Freddie Mercury/Michael Jackson, “There Must Be More To Life Than This.”
‘There Must Be More To Life Than This” is a song Mercury originally wrote for Queen’s 1981 album, “Hot Space,” which at the time went unfinished. Producer William Orbit used Queen’s original music bed along with Mercury and Jackson’s vocal track to complete the song, which is one of three previously unreleased tracks on “Queen Forever.”
The Brian May-penned “Let Me In Your Heart Again,” which was originally intended for Queen’s 1984 album, “The Works,” is now surfacing as well, along with Queen’s acoustic remake of “Love Kills,” Mercury’s 1885 solo hit the singer wrote with Giorgio Moroder. “Queen Forever” also features a mix of previously released hits and landmark songs from the band. It’ll will be available as a single-disc, 20-track CD and a two-disc 36-track collection on November 11th.
