I think we’re leaning on the arts more than ever for our mental health during the firestorm of triggers throughout the pandemic. Whether we just LOVE music or we need a break from the stress of trying to provide, the stress of loneliness, or trying to detach from the vitriol of stupidity spewing from social media, the arts, including musicians have been there for us. Poets have always been there, their insight resulting in lyrics that sometimes go unnoticed under the great riffs and sounds. Once again an artist from one genre, touches us, while paying tribute to another with a great piece of poetry and song.
