The Rolling Stones aren’t asking nicely anymore when it comes to Donald Trump’s use of their music at his rallies. The band is threatening to “take further steps” to stop the President’s use of their songs after he played “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” in Tulsa, Oklahoma – AKA, legal action. A rep for the Stones says in a statement the band’s legal team is working with performing rights organization BMI, who warned Trump’s campaign using the band’s song would “constitute a breach of its licensing agreement.” “[Further use] would face a lawsuit for breaking the embargo and playing music that has not been licensed,” the statement reads. “This could be the last time Trump uses any Jagger/Richards songs on his campaigns.”
