Nearly 550 metres of city trails will be improved, thanks to funding from the Government of Canada’s federal Gas Tax Fund. Crew began fixing cracks and bumps and provide a smoother surface on the UNBC Connector trail (between Ospika and Tyner Boulevard) and at Cpl. Darren Fitzpatrick Bravery Park. The work is scheduled to be completed within two weeks, depending on weather conditions. Also beginning today, hikers can use a new refreshed, gravel trail to access Connaught Hill Park off Queensway. And the City is looking for feedback from the public about the use of one of the Pidherny Recreation Site. There’s the link to the survey for residents, which can be accessed on the City website. Residents are also encouraged to visit an interactive map produced by McElhanney.
