- Mötley Crüe may have hit a rough patch back when they broke up, but the band is on good terms now – even wondering if they made the right choice by calling it quits… Even so, don’t expect to see them hit the stage together again. “Sometimes I look out at my friends, like the guys in Aerosmith and Metallica, and I’m like, ‘God damn it, did we retire too soon?’” Sixx says. “But there will be no one-offs in our future. Maybe we’ll just get together and jam in Mick Mars’ front room.”

He says right now his fingers are okay, but notes, “in a year’s time, maybe not so good … I’m a perfectionist and I do not want to go out there and feel like, ‘Oh I can’t, this isn’t good.’ That would be a nightmare for me,” adding, “I’ve been playing guitar for 60 years. Started when I was eight and now I’m 68. So, I’ve had a very good run.”
