Costello had cancelled his Fall tour after undergoing surgery for a “small but very aggressive” cancerous tumor. He also mentioned at the time that he and the Imposters had an album in the works set for release in October. Now they’ve released the record’s 12-song track list, which you can check out below, and a single to boot, “Unwanted Number.” Hear the track to the right.
That’s not all – it looks like Costello’s health is doing okay because he and the band are hitting the road for a North American tour on November 2nd running through December 4th. “Look Now” is set for release on October 12th.

A non-profit organization has uncovered lost recordings by Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. The recordings feature a series of concerts by the two from 1968 at the historic venue Canterbury House at the University of Michigan.
The tapes are among a bounty of concert recordings unearthed by The Michigan History Project, who are now looking for a record label wanting to release the recorded shows. They say the recordings were discovered six years ago, they’re last known location being in the possession of a private collector before they disappeared… until now.
Also – apparently the tapes aren’t your ordinary concert bootlegs, but legit recordings by a sound engineer at the venue. Meaning, they really hit the jackpot with this rare find.
