Very sad news this morning. Tragically Hip lead singer Gord Downie has died. He was suffering from glioblastoma an incurable from of cancer. He spent the last part of his life fighting for Canada’s indigenous people working on The Secret Path and raising money for brain cancer research. It shocked all of us when he revealed he was suffering from brain cancer in May of 2016. The following tour sold out and the big concert at the end of the tour, broadcast live on CBC television, united Hip fans across the country.
