Tom Petty has officially been laid to rest. He was honored by his friends and family in a private ceremony. His daughter AnnaKim Violette Petty shared some pictures of the day, including a black and white pic of her dad and one with her sister Adria. Her caption for the family pic was, “We care about each other and love our bad ass father.” And Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Greatest Hits” album is at number two on the “Billboard” 200 album chart for the second week in a row.
Iron Maiden has joined “Angry Birds.” Their mascot Eddie will be a character in “Angry Birds Evolution” until Eddie will be a playable character through Halloween. More at SPIN.
Elton John has announced the final 14 shows of his Las Vegas residency, “The Million Dollar Piano.” He’s playing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, for over ten years. Elton’s final 14 shows kick off April 28th with the absolute last show set for May 19th. Tickets go on sale Sunday at 10 am.
Bruce Springsteen’s Broadway show is doing very well. So far it’s brought in almost 2 million dollars. The Boss is now in 4th place behind “Hamilton” “Hello, Dolly!” and “The Lion King.”
