It’s World Habitat Day! Over 30 years ago the United Nations General Assembly declared the first Monday in October World Habitat Day to promote the idea that everyone deserves a decent place to live. It’s also a day to honour the work of Habitat for Humanity.
It’s also Techies Day! This is the day to go up to your office technician and give him or her a big ol’ hug…Then get ready for 2 days off without pay and a restraining order. But here we love our Techies Sarah & Andy and give them both a virtual hug. Both were working too hard to even pose for a pic so here’s an action shot of Sarah (foreground) and Andy (silhouette head in front of computer) combining their big smart head brains to save another employee’s day here at The Drive. This shot was taken just before Sarah tossed Andy a portable drive which Andy plugged into the computer and downloaded critical information just seconds before the computer crashed…Just another day for our heros.
