And Paul Simon and Edie Brickell are among the celebrities stepping up to help Texans hit by Hurricane Harvey. They said they’ll donate a million to help out.
Steely Dan co-founder Walter Becker, died Sunday. He was 67. No cause has been released. Steely Dan didn’t play the Classic East West in July because Becker was ill.
And a founding member of Molly Hatchet, guitarist Dave Hlubek has passed away. He was 66. The band broke the news on Facebook but didn’t say how he died.
Queen‘s album “News of the World” is 40 this year and the band is releasing an anniversary box set. It includes a special limited edition picture disc album, which will be available in a strictly limited run of 1977 individually numbered copies in a commemorative die-cut sleeve.
