It’s the closest we’ll ever get to a Beatles reunion, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are together on Ringo Starr’s latest single, “We’re On the Road Again.” they play together on a few songs from Ringo’s new album “Give More Love.” It’s out September 15th. Check them out below.
Mick Jagger wanted to get these two songs out right away. He said he felt they were ‘of the moment.’ The songs “England Lost,” about being in a difficult moment in history and “Gotta Get a Grip,” is about creating your own destiny.
Madonna and her four-year-old twin daughters got some cash from the British publisher of the Mail Online site. She sued them for revealing details of the girls’ adoptions while it was still under way. While Madonna was considering adopting the girls they published the girls’ names, race, age, where they lived. Madonna is donating the winnings to a children’s hospital in Malawi.
Justin Bieber has not been charged with hitting a photographer with his truck…yet. But if you checked out the video on our blog yesterday, well you be the judge. . A 57-year-old photographer was went to hospital in Los Angeles with minor injuries after the incident Wednesday night.
A half a century ago The Doors released “Light My Fire,” the first song ever written by guitarist Robby Krieger. Why he wrote it is a cool story. He says Jim Morrison doing all the writing but then said to told the rest of them to give it a try. So Krieger started looking for something to write about and Morrison said write about something timeless. Krieger thought about the four elements and chose fire because he liked the Stones song “Play With Fire.” Rhino Records is releasing a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl version of “Light My Fire” tomorrow, and they’re streaming 3 three versions of the song….(a bit overkill but a cool story.) Kid Rock wants you to get out and vote! There’s been a lot of speculation that he’ll run for the Senate in Michigan. He hints to it on his website and he launched a non-profit group encouraging people to vote. Kid says he’ll let us know via a media conference within the next six week. Thanks for nailing that down for us Mr. Rock.
