It’s Mick’s birthday today. Mick the Rocker, Dad, Grandad, is 74 today! Our best wishes and a bit of sympathy for you Mick, you little devil! You’ve come a long way from the church choir.
So Alice Cooper is going through some stuff he had stored away and found, what could millions of dollars worth of art. It’s funny when guys find valuable crap they forgot they had.
Fire crews put out a vehicle fire behind Dani Mandi restaurant at 5th & Watrous early this morning. The fire was confined to the vehicle and they said they didn’t know what caused the fire.

Apparently Microsoft will no longer support MS Paint and someday it won’t even be include it on new computers. When we were talking about this JD (Weekends on The Drive) texted us saying Ringo Starr is a big MS Paint artist. Click the pic to go to his site.
Some entertainment news:
George Clooney has directed a comedy-drama called “Suburbicon,” written by the Coen brothers. It’s about a home invasion starring Matt Damon and Julianne Moore. It gets a screening at the Toronto Film Festival September 7th to 17th. Another film announced to be screened at the fest is Angelina Jolie’s “First They Killed My Father,” which she also co-wrote. It’s based on Cambodian human rights activist Loung Ung’s memoir.
“Wonder Woman 2” points her colourful suit to theatres in December of 2019. Warner Bros. announced the date late yesterday…. So how do you break that to excited fans? We have some good news and some bad news…Yes there will be another Wonder Woman film but not til you’re out of puberty. The new film will star Gal Gadot as Diana. The current film has made $389.7-million in North America.
And Netflix says is producing an adult animated comedy from Matt Groening. He’s the guy who created “The Simpsons.” The title….“Disenchantment” and it takes place in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland. It stars Princess Bean (who likes a good drink or three) and her buddy Elfo along with here very own demon Luci.
