Elton John is sick and has canceled all his shows for the rest of April & May include “The Million Dollar Piano” show in Vegas. He picked up a rare bacterial infection while touring Africa. E Street rocker Steven Van Zandt has paired up with the Ronald McDonald House New York to promote their good work. He’ll be a part of the Heroes Volunteer Event June 20th in New York.

And Greg Allman is sick but not dying. He wants to dispel rumours that he’s in hospice care.

Yes the movie “Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash,” will be made. They’ve started filming in LA. It’s based on drummer Artimus Pyle’s recollection of the 1977 plane crash. Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, backing vocalist Cassie Gaines, an assistant road manager, and the two pilots died in the crash. Just a week before the 1977 crash, Aerosmith was supposed to be on the same plane but they didn’t think it was safe and decided against leasing it.
