The celebrate Bernie Taupin and Elton John’s 50 year collaboration they’ve teamed up with You Tube for a fan contest. Just create a video for “Bennie and the Jets,” “Rocket Man” and “Tiny Dancer.” The contest is called “Elton John: The Cut.” You have until January 23rd to get it done. The prize is $10,000.
Ian Anderson is re-creating some of his classic songs in the style of classical music. It’s called “The String Quartets” on March 24th, and includes “Aqualung,” “Bungle in the Jungle” and “A Christmas Song.” Check out the list below and you can pre-order it HERE.

To collect the $870,000 that comes with the Nobel Prize for Literature Bob is supposed to do a lecture in his field of expertise within six months. They say a gig would be the perfect opportunity to do that. Maybe he’ll just sing it. Here are the dates for the gigs.
