The Rolling Stones had to cancel their Vegas show last night. Mick has laryngitis but is planning on playing Saturday.
Paul McCartney is pushing to save some of the small music venues and pubs in Liverpool. He’s supporting the Music Venue Trust’s #FIGHTBACK campaign, that’s trying to support those venues right across the UK. Sir Paul says without support such as this “the future of music in general is in danger.”
Oh just for the record Jon Bon Jovi (who probably loves rumours as much as the rest of us) would like everyone to know he’s not trying to buy the Tennessee Titans. He says he’d like to own an NFL someday but right now it’s all about music.
There’s a campaign in the states for a Trump free America. It’s called 30 Days 30 Songs for a Trump Free America. They’re ‘releasing’ a new song for each day for the 30 days leading up to the election (the date of the election is not really known…by all candidates.) Some of the songs are just previously released songs that seem to fit, like this one by REM released yesterday. Check out the 30 days site here.
