Three David Bowie songs recorded with the Blackstar band, will be on the cast recording of Bowie’s musical, “Lazarus.” Until now, the songs “No Plan,” “Killing a Little Time,” and “When I Met You,” have only ever been heard sung by the cast of the musical. The “Lazarus” cast album will be released October 21st.
- And it was bogus! David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones, is saying the story about his dad’s ashes being spread at Burning Man isn’t true. (but hey Burning Man is very Bowie-ish so not a hard one to believe.)
Apparently Mick Jagger may not be very excited about being a new dad…again…at 73. One insider said he wasn’t responding to messages of congratulations. Mick and 29-year-old ballerina Melanie Hamrick will have a baby this year. Mick is planning on buying her a house and paying her $15,000 a month til the child is 18.

So Bruce Springsteen’s autobiography, “Born To Run” on September 27th. And he’s announced a string of appearances to promote the book. The first will be at a book store in his home town of Freehold NJ.
