Kim Phuc’s iconic photo of her running away from her village in Vietnam after a napalm explosion is etched in everyone’s memory. She will be the speaker at the 2016 Dr. Bob Ewart memorial dinner, the Northern Medical Program’s largest fund raising event. Phuc’s story is part of a book written by Prince George-born author Denise Chong, who received an honorary degree from UNBC in 2001. You can find out more here.
