A celebration of the life of Ben Meisner will be held tomorrow, (Saturday, April 18th) at 2 pm at the Prince George Civic Centre.
Ben Meisner passed away April 2nd in Winnipeg after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the North Cariboo SPCA Branch or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Wendy and I both worked with Ben and have some pretty good memories of Ben. He was a tough interviewer with politicians. He never let them off easy. However he was one of the most generous and helpful man to anyone in need. He entered a room like Kramer and the conversation would be passionate until Ben left. His dedication to our city can be seen around us every day. Thank you Ben for everything you did for all of us.
