Bob Seger Tickets are available Saturday morning (Nov 22) at 10 from Live Nation. Seger hits Vancouver March 7th. He’s got a significant schedule for an older dude, right through the beginning of March. He’s been in training for it by riding his bike. That’s good as long as you’re not riding with Bono!
Bono had a bad bicycle accident. While riding his bike through New York’s Central Park on Sunday, he tried to avoid another rider (maybe it was Vertigo) and was involved in a nasty accident. After X-rays & CAT Scans, Doctors took five hours of surgery to put him back together. He broke that bone around his eye. His freakin’ eye socket!? Broke his shoulder blade in 3 places plus his funny bone, which they say is not hilarious at all. He even had bone poking through his skin. Will this inspire a ballad or a ‘balls to the wall’ song on their next album.
U2 also had to cancel their week with Jimmy Fallon on NBC’s The Tonight Show. The good news, Fallon will get some mileage out the whole thing I’m sure.
I wonder if Bono will pose for a helmet poster for the Northern Brain Injury Association. As president I’ll ask him.
