Executive Chef, Rodney from UNBC Food Services is serving this up at the taste pavilion at Sundays Downtown Summerfest 11a-4p downtown Prince George. He brought some in for us this morning so we thought we’d shared the recipe.
BBQ Peaches (Served with ice cream or frozen yogurt.)
Cut a peach in half then marinade it for at least 4hrs in a mix of
1/4 cup of Brown Sugar
1/8 cup mango juice
pinch of nutmeg and tea spoon of cinnamon
Then BBQ at 250F
For ripe Peaches 10-15 total (flip halfway through)
For not so ripe 15-25 (flip halfway through)
Serve with ice cream or frozen yogurt. Enjoy, then call Doug & Wendy and tell them how much you enjoyed it.
