A community garage sale is being organized at Douglas Community Centre for this Sunday. Proceeds will go towards buying a new truck for low income advocate Ivy Kanis.
Kanis is known in the community for distributing used clothing and household items to those in need,so a new truck would mean a great deal to Kanis. Donations of used items can be dropped off at Columbus Community Centre all week.
